Either way each item is individually priced and a large majority of the items have reduced labels on them which makes the price even better.

The skin care and makeup section is very popular which leads to some items being a little worse for wear but then again that's the problem with leaving makeup on the shelf for people to touch.
Even handbags from Michael Kors were better than half price compared to UK prices and even some US prices I had seen throughout my stay. There are a range of different sections in the store - each clearly labelled and easy to find. TJ Maxx also puts the original price on the tags so you can see how much of a saving you would get and the incredible prices they have. The store is massive and I spent around $100 on around 11 items - I was able to buy gifts for family and friends as well as getting named brands such as Calvin Klein and DKNY for a fraction of the price. The staff working there were able to explain to me the return policy as I wondered if it differed from the UK policies - to which I was told I was able to return or exchange items with a receipt within 28 days of purchase. As I arrived early in the morning the store was clean and items were in the right sections - the clothes with specific sizing were in the right place and clearly displayed. In the UK we have TK Maxx but in the US the same store is named TJ Maxx - with the same general idea that named brands are cheaper in this store than other high street stores.
